Hello,
Pain is not always related to trauma but it can be. There could be many reasons why your back is hurting. You might just work to many hours or your chair is not supporting your back properly. You might just need to change your chair, your work hours, and/or go to a physical therapist to help you.
However, if you tried everything and nothing has worked than there is often a psychological reason behind the pain. You might be hanging on to the past and not being able to let go, your work might be too stressful, or other psychological reasons such as trauma. Are you getting enough support from your friends and family in your life? Are you supporting someone but do not receive anything or little back? Are you carrying guilt? It is hard to say why your back is hurting but perhaps you can explore this a little more?

Warmly,

Dr. Susanne Babbel

hello there.
For me this actually happens, when i am stressed i can't eat and then i usually have backache for days - that's if i don't have headaches as well. I know that you have to control your stress but i find this difficult.
